A Day Out With Thomas

After two straight years of praying (four times a day) that he would be able to ride on Thomas the Train again, we finally took him for another Day Out with Thomas. In our defense, Thomas only comes to town two weekends a year. We surprised him and his reaction was a little anti-climatic this year, but we still had a blast. He was one of the older kids there, so I'm wondering if the end of his Thomas the Train obsession is near. He rarely requests the Thomas show anymore and non-train related toys are starting to enter his daily play routine. I hope that he will still continue to be a train kid, but if not, we had a good run.

They rode on the dining car. Beckett was chosen to be the
 honorary engineer. He even got to speak on the microphone.

J got to ride on Thomas. She wasn't thrilled.

So many little sisters at the event! Most of them were hanging
 out with their grandparents. J had no complaints about that!
