While we were in Gilbert for Thanksgiving, Beckett's grandaddy taught him how to pull up onto the couch. Now, Beckett is a pro at pulling up on everything. We have been battling with naptimes for the last few days. I lay him down and he immediately pulls himself up and then screams, and screams, and screams some more. Then, there's silence and I think "finally, he's sleeping." But when I walk into check on him, this is what I find:
"Surprise! I've been waiting for you to come back in" |
"You know you can't resist this cute face" |
"Please get me out. I promise I'll be sweet" |
"Am I going to have to chew myself out of here?" |
"Please, I'm begging you to get me out of here!" |
"Fine, I'll just keep screaming" |
Finally asleep (or maybe passed out). Either way, he's quiet and I like it! |
P.S. This is the nap where the dog barked and woke him up. She's lucky she lived to see another day!
