4th Birthday

On Beckett's birthday, Blake and I took him to Incredible Pizza and had an absolute blast (pictures in earlier post). Because his birthday falls around Easter/Spring Break, we normally have his party a few weeks later when my parents can get off of work and fly out.

This year, I was in the process of planning a party when I was put on bed rest. I didn't want to cancel, but I knew that I wouldn't be disciplined enough to not get out of the recliner for the entire duration of the party. My mom and mother-in-law were perfectly capable of throwing the party, but I knew that my stubbornness wouldn't allow me to relax while hosting. So, we decided to do a small family gathering this year and it was absolutely perfect (and I even stayed in the recliner for the most part).

I'll Be Back Soon

I've been MIA for a few months. Here's why:

I hope to catch up soon. Don't worry, I've taken
thousands of pictures. I just need to upload them.

Only Child Expiring

We took these pictures on Beckett's last night of being an only child. He was so excited about meeting his little sister and counted down the days to June 15. We kept telling him that she could come a little earlier, but he kept reminding us that the doctor said June 15. His understanding was that she would come no earlier and no later than June 15 and he was correct.

Gang is all here, it's time to have a baby!

A little spoiling from the grandmothers. This boy is in heaven!

First Purchase

Beckett saved his money to buy a Thomas the Train pillow. He saved up for a while with this item in mind. We quizzed him several times to make sure that this was what he absolutely wanted. The pillow cost a total of $20, so we wanted to make sure that he wouldn't change his mind after the purchase. For many months, he talked about how he was saving up for this pillow. We were so proud of him for working so hard and setting his mind to something and following through with it. He was one excited boy when he finally had enough money saved and he and dad got to make his big purchase at Target.
