Fun in the Sun

While Blake was working in the Dakotas, Beckett and I needed to get out of the house for a little while so we went to the park since the weather was nice. It was a sunny 65 degrees, which apparently is pretty uncommon for February in Oklahoma. I think God is cutting me some slack on my first Oklahoma winter. Unfortunately, I have a feeling that the cold is still to come.

Eating the "duck food"

The kid absolutely loves bread of any kind

Trying to cram it in so that the ducks don't take it. He doesn't share food!

Tulsa Zoo

Since Blake took part of the day off on MLK Day, we decided to take a trip to the Tulsa Zoo. It was 68 degrees and a holiday, so there were tons of kids there. We had a good time and Beckett enjoyed people watching more than animal watching.

Greetings and Kisses

When Blake gets home from work, there's always a race to see who can greet him first. Karsten always wins but Beckett is a close second. They've gotten used to greeting him together, but sometimes they get a little carried away with the kisses.

Shopping Cart

Beckett and I went strolling around the store with Aunt Serah. Here are a few pictures of our shopping experience.

He loves to entertain all of the ladies and feels like he needs to be
facing forward at all times, just so they can see his cute face.

Looking for ladies to flirt with.

Playin' it cool. This is his favorite way to ride in the cart.
Sometimes he'll even kick his leg up on the bar.

His leg stays kicked up on the seat. Partially so that he doesn't miss any action and partially so that he can turn around and chew on the back of the seat (he hasn't tried to chew on the handle yet and I figure that the back of the seat probably has less germs). Walmart germs are good for him, right?

Fearless

I say this all the time, but this kid is so fearless. He climbs onto everything with no fear of falling. He's already had his first black eye and several knots on his head. There is not a cautious bone in his body!
